Darkfall

Apollo is a hybrid guild with a unique leadership and a mature mindset that is most likely different from any other guild that you have been in. We are currently a multi-game guild, which focuses on our community first, and our achievements a very close second.

We are a blood-thirsty bunch of individuals who like to engage in bar-room humor and rack up the pk's, all the while hanging out on vent having a good time.

Apollo formed when people from many games gathered together to join a guild in the Age of Conan. We were originally members of the Exodus Gaming Syndicate but broke off to follow our own path.. While in EXGS we were members of the House of Apollo a subsection of the over all guild. When it came time to form own old guild it was hard to let go of name APOLLO. So we didnt.

The Leadership from the Apollo originated in FFXI and Everquest.

Spongehunter from FFXI was a member of one of the only groups of North American players playing during the Japaneese Release. These players band together to form one of the first high end guilds on the Gilgamesh server. Since that time many of its members moved on to other games but the premise of the team work and bond started back in 2000 still remains.

Deca is a born killer, and began his MMO experience on Rallos Zek back when you killed people and they dropped items that you could loot. He formed a guild called Reign of Pain and for 3 years straight his band of 30 companions were "Kill on Sight" to the entire server. PVP strategy is his forte, and when outnumbered on the battlefield his only thoughts are: "More Targets For Us"

Ghostface started in 99' with Everquest Rallos Zek server with a guild called Reign of Pain. Our focus was to pvp and more pvp. Since that day I was hooked. Over the years we have learned its not how many peoeple you have but how good are the people you play with.

Members of the current Apollo come from games such as WAR, Eq, Eq2, FFXI, AOC, DAOC, DnL, LoTRO, Vanguard and many more. They bring there wealth of experience and knowledge here to make us a guild to be rekon with.

Our core values are based on that of team/guild first attitude. If you are a player who is only out for themselves, then this isnt the place for you. If you are the type that makes sacrifices for the greater good of the team, then you are the type of player we are looking for.

Deca: Bene -- We'll see how it goes. I'm sure Sponge will get a lot of us some Beta keys, he's pretty good at that. In the meantime I am enjoyuing the massive PVP in Darkfall. I don't like all the "Fire is it or you suck" mentality that's going on but hopefully that is either just noobishness or a game flaw that will be corrected. Variety.....is the spice of life.

Benevolence: deca look at the MO in-game videos. from what i've seen one character twitches his hands with 2 swords in them and the other instantly dies. Looks like shit and looks like a systemn of one hit kills. HOPEFULLY this is not the case. if it kills DF, i'll gladly switch over.

Kayadine: ave a sweet job, but internet here is TERRIBLE! there is absolutely no way i can game atm, maybe even till september. But i try and check up on this site every few days, i also try and read up clan discussion on forums...

Deca: hate to say it but MO will probably be a Darkfall killer. Real company, real funding, better graphics, and hopefully a better gameplay system that doesn't force you to be a Fireball Key Masher.
